About Me
Hi, I am Melissa. I began my healing journey several years ago. I realized I had been living in survival mode, and it was keeping me stuck. I couldn't feel fully alive in the present because I didn't have a felt sense of safety in my body. I was most often stuck in fight/flight/freeze/fawn. When I began to listen to my body, I found compassion for myself and slowly began to heal.

Living a wholehearted life involves healing from trauma, stress, or adversity. It is a journey of self-discovery, self-compassion, and self-love that starts with becoming connected to our bodies and understanding our nervous system responses. By healing from trauma, we can learn to live in the present without our past keeping us stuck.
